Our Thoughtful Process

Step I.

Discovery & Consultation

Our journey together begins with a 30-minute Discovery Call, allowing us to get to know one another and dive into your project goals. Following this, we’ll arrange a 1-hour in-person consultation where we’ll explore your current home or review the plans for your new build.

During this meeting, we’ll discuss your vision, goals, lifestyle, scope, investment projections and our role in making this process enjoyable and effortless. Following this meeting, you will receive a comprehensive custom proposal, and once you accept and sign, your project officially kicks off!

Step II.

Trade Day

Approximately 2 weeks after your project kick’s off, we’ll schedule a Trade Day in your home. We’ll meet with various experts — architects, builders, landscapers, contractors, and other tradespeople — to refine all plans. We’ll conduct a thorough site survey, capturing every project detail in one fell swoop. Then, we return to our studio to thoughtfully craft the conceptual design.

Step III.

Conceptual Design Phase

Within 4 weeks of Trade Day, we’ll present a comprehensive conceptual design plan. This stage marks your first “reveal day,” where you’ll feel the excitement as you witness your personalized design taking shape. We will present floor plans, inspiration boards, initial design selections, and an itemized investment estimate. The Conceptual Design Phase exists to confirm your scope, layout, investment estimate, and aesthetic direction. After your vision is approved, it’s time to dive into the fine details.

Step IV.

Detailed Design Presentation & Approval

Now, it’s time to witness the magic of your personal design aesthetic come to life. In approximately 6-8 weeks, we’ll return with a detailed design presentation that includes elevation and 3D views of your spaces, showcasing all furnishings, fabrics, and finish selections tailored to fit your space. Additionally, we’ll provide you with an organized room-by-room investment breakdown. The detailed design phase exists to turn ideas into orders and make any necessary refinements so that the design feels perfect for you.

Important Note: To align with our project timeline, our conceptual and detailed design phases include one round of revisions.

Step v.

Procurement & Project Management

Once all selections are approved, we’ll begin placing and tracking orders, receiving and inspecting deliveries, resolve deficiencies, and orchestrating all the elements of project management. Serving as an advocate and liaison between you and your project, we communicate details to vendors and trades ensuring your journey is seamless and every detail is thoughtful, purposeful, and completely aligns with your vision of home.

Step vI.

Installation & Final Reveal

When the project is nearing completion and all orders are in, we’ll schedule your installation day. No need to worry about the hassle of coordinating multiple deliveries; we’ll ensure all items arrive together and expertly style each detail. This is the magic that elevates your home into a meaningful experience designed for effortless daily living.

When you return home for the final reveal, you’ll encounter a curated, personal, and memorable home. Finally, we’ll *clink* our glasses, celebrating and toasting to the beautiful memories ahead.
