When this successful female attorney reached out to us, she had a clear goal: elevate the sophistication of her 1900s home. She entrusted us with furnishing and renovating her living and dining rooms, a challenge we happily accepted. Our mission was to transform her home into a haven of calm, where daily comfort effortlessly mingles with entertaining.

Our approach, as always, was to blend practicality with aesthetics. We crafted custom built-ins, complete with exquisite brushed brass fence inserts and customized ventilation, ingeniously hiding the unsightly radiators often found in historic homes. We convinced our client to preserve the original marble fireplace, turning it into a captivating centerpiece full of character.

In the dining room, we optimized the seating arrangement and introduced recessed lighting, creating the illusion of higher ceilings. To elevate the space even further, we designed a floor-to-ceiling built-in along the window wall, providing multifunctional solutions. This included a sunny window bench that held a secret — another concealed radiator.

We thoughtfully selected natural textures, showcased family heirlooms, and curated artwork that paid homage to the client's New Jersey roots. The result is an intentionally crafted home that is not only elevated and functional but deeply personal.
