After decades of leading a nomadic lifestyle in pursuit of their exciting careers, this artistic couple finally found and purchased their forever dream home in downtown Pittsburgh. Eager to make this space their own, they reached out to us with vibrant and colorful aspirations — a Venice Beach-inspired vibe, bursting with bright hues, bold patterns, and natural light.

We infused vibrancy and color into the first and fourth floors of this initially neutral builder-grade townhouse. Accent walls, lively wallpaper, colorful upholstery, and bold-patterned window treatments transformed the space into an inviting, fun home that fuels the couples professional and personal creativity. 

On the first floor, the primary entertaining area, we introduced a stunning green glass chandelier in the dining space and adorned the windows with decorative window treatments, defining the area while maximizing natural light and color. In the adjacent powder room, playful Fenwyk Bartell wallpaper injects a sense of liveliness. Thoughtfully selected furnishings, including a custom long leather sofa and a reupholstered antique heirloom chair, were chosen to fit the narrow living area seamlessly.

On the fourth floor, where the couple spends most of their time, we crafted a cozy den and a custom built-in kitchen. This versatile space is equipped with a large custom sofa that converts into a pull-out bed, a mobile coffee table on casters (to make space for the couple’s yoga sessions), and all kitchen necessities conveniently within reach. This den seamlessly accommodates multiple purposes tailored to our clients’ diverse needs. Multifunctional at its finest!

Connected to the den are two rooftop patios, where our vivid color palette continues to shine. Both the table with bright green chairs and blue Adirondacks by the fire pit offer perfect spots for sitting back and taking in the stunning cityscape. Every corner of this townhome now radiates inspiration for our clients, aligning effortlessly with their personalities and needs.
