We had the pleasure of transforming a 4,500-square-foot commercial space in downtown Oakmont into a vibrant mortgage office for a growing firm. Tasked with converting a former clothing boutique into a branded mortgage office for over 20 employees, our scope of work covered everything from space planning and furniture selection to design, remodeling, and project management.

Our clients envisioned a workspace that felt open, light, and airy, and expressed a strong preference for glass walls. Despite budget constraints, we strategically invested in key areas to maximize impact. The result? A modern office that aligns seamlessly with their forward-thinking business mentality.

We thoughtfully crafted the layout, which includes four managers’ offices, a spacious conference room, a welcoming reception lounge, and a showstopping client-facing conference room visible from a busy downtown street — hello, visibility! Additionally, there’s an open office area with desks and a custom shuffleboard table perfect for those team-building tournaments. Completing the space is a comfortable lounge with a kitchenette, two bathrooms, and a smaller conference room. 

 For the furnishings, clean lines, white and light wood accents, and pops of brightly colored fabrics were the elements we curated to enhance the overall vibe. My personal favorite feature? A custom conference table crafted locally by artisan Bert Cherry of Antiques on Main.

The final result is a mortgage office that not only functions seamlessly, but makes a bold statement, reflecting our client’s vibrant, modern, and cool brand identity. From carefully selected furniture to stand-out accent walls, every detail contributes to an inviting and innovative workspace.
